Adjunct Instructor, Game Design Program

I teach a weekly class on marketing and product launch strategies for the Game Design Program. Students learn how to acquire users and monetize that game they've worked so hard to create. Focus areas include marketing fundamentals, social media, enthusiast-based marketing, community management, customer service, analytics, PR, and more.

Part of the management team at backCODE - a studio focusing on educational games, Defense-related projects, and Serious games. Most recently, helped create the Intel IoT keynote for CES, developed M-GO Advanced: the first video browsing app on Samsung Gear VR (Oculus Rift / Samsung prototype). Created an immersive 3D environment using Unity and developed new UX to support OVR prototype debuted by Samsung at the Consumer Electronics Unlimited Tradeshow in Berlin.  Currently, working on several VR concepts in health-care.

Executive Producer
Served as Executive Producer for IARPA’s SIRIUS project.  The program’s goal is to create a Serious Game to train intelligence analysts to recognize and mitigate cognitive biases.  Produced applications for the US Army’s Fires Center of Excellence to train soldiers for assignments in Afghanistan and Iraq.  Deployed mobile applications on iOS to train soldiers to mitigate collateral damage during deployment.  Presented applications to Army Leadership at Ft. Sill to a positive review.
